Pakistani HC invites Kashmiri leaders to meet Sartaj Aziz in New Delhi


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan High Commission (PHC) in India on Wednesday has invited Kashmir’s Hurriyat leaders to hold talks with National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz on August 23.


Indian media reported that at least a dozen people including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah and Yaseen Malik have been invited for a dinner in New Delhi.

Aziz will meet the Hurriyat leaders over dinner hosted by the high commission.

The Advisor to PM will also meet his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval during his visit to India. Different important matters including terrorism will be discussed between the two. The NSA-level talks which are to be held on August 23 are of extreme importance. The leaders will be representing neighbouring countries amid clashes and tensions on Line of Control (LoC) and otherwise.
