Qaim Ali Shah terms special powers for FIA an attack on Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Monday criticized the federal government’s decision to confer special powers on the Federal Investigation Agency in Sindh, dubbing it an attack on the province.

Speaking to media, he informed the newsmen of his detailed conversation with Altaf Hussain and the question that MQM chief asked him.

The Sindh Chief Minister clarified that he did not hang up on Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief and that he holds him in high regard.

Shah also announced to approach the court over the amendment in the schedule under which special powers were given to FIA in Sindh, which he said, was discriminatory action.
