Rao Anwar’s role in eliminating terrorism commendable: IG Sindh

KARACHI: Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police, Ghulam Haider Jamali, on Friday said that former SSP Malir Rao Anwar played a crucial role in eliminating terrorism, NewsOne reported.


While talking to media, IG Sindh said Rao Anwar, who demanded ban on MQM during a press conference yesterday, curbed crime in his jurisdiction with ‘exemplary and successful actions’.

“Rao Anwar did remarkable action from Malir to Gadap to eliminate criminal gangs,” IG Sindh added.

He termed the assassination of DSP Abdul Fateh an ‘act of terrorism’ and said that police is investigating the case from different aspects.
