Rashid Godil’s condition better: Doctors

KARACHI: Doctors on early Wednesday have said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rashid Godil’s condition is better.

Liaquat National Hospital’s spokesperson Doctor Anjum Rizvi told media outside the hospital in Karachi.

The spokesperson said that decision to remove ventilator would be taken after panel s thorough check-up.

He said that as long as Godil is on a ventilator his condition is critical.

However, the condition allows the staffers to remove the ventilator after around an hour. More than 17 doctors are monitoring Godil’s condition, he added.

Dr Rizvi said that amount of oxygen propelled by ventilator has been decreased since around 6 am today.

Godil was shot at least five to six bullets in a gun attack on August 18. His condition was declared critical as neck, chest and jaw were hit severely.
