SHC grants physical remand of alleged Safoora carnage’s financier


KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) and Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday has remanded alleged facilitator in Safoora incident, Sheeba Ahmed in police custody for at least 30 days.


Ahmed was arrested from Defense area on evening of September 16.

Separately, the SHC has ordered Rangers to allow Safoora carnage’s facilitator, Naeem Sajid’s family to meet the culprit as per rules. The Rangers law officer requested the court to expunge criminals’ name from list of missing persons as he is in police’s custody.

The police on September 16 had presented the court before ATC and acquired a 14-day remand.
