Siraj urges MQM workers to disown Altaf Hussain

ISLAMABAD: Amir e Jamaat e Islami (JI), Siraj ul Haq on Monday has called upon Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supporters to disown heir leader Altaf Hussain, NewsONE reported.

“Altaf Hussain is a confused person who is in depression. He has put even his own workers in trouble through his recent remarks. They must clarify their position and disown his speech that is dangerous for the country and its future,” the JI chief said.

The London-based MQM supremo made objectionable remarks on Saturday against the armed forces and called for deployment of the UN and the NATO troops in Karachi.

Haq was speaking to media persons after meeting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Justice Sardar Raza in Islamabad.

Seeking an end to hereditary politics in Pakistan, Siraj-ul-Haq chief called upon Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to oversee intra-party elections of political parties in future.
