Troops in North Waziristan to “eliminate all local and foreign terrorists and their sanctuaries”

RAWALPINDI: On Monday, Army chief General Raheel Sharif stated terrorists will be chased till their total elimination. He told the troops in North Waziristan to “eliminate all local and foreign terrorists and their sanctuaries” in the tribal region.


The army chief visited the military personnel on the front lines for the first time since the launch of a major offensive opposed to the terrorist groups in North Waziristan, their biggest sanctuary.

Speaking to the soldiery in the midriff of the operation in Miranshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan, Gen Raheel lauded them for their bravery, commitment and high state of morale and expressed his satisfaction over the progress reached thus far since the beginning of the procedure.
