Accountability vital for Pakistan’s safety: PM Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday emphasized on the need for across the board and swift accountability to save and sustain the country.


“The country cannot be saved if there is no accountability,” the premier said while addressing civil service employees in Islamabad.

“Third world countries are poor because of corruption,” PM Imran asserted.

PM Imran stressed, “We will not progress until we change ourselves. Everyone from the public to politicians and bureaucrats must change themselves.”

“Nothing is impossible in this world,” he added.

The premier further said, “We are paying Rs6 billion in interest on loans everyday.”
