LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Co-Chairman and ex president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari will hold a meeting with Pakistan Awami Tehree’s chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, according to Newsone.
According to sources both Zardari and Qadri will discuss ongoing political matters prevalent in the country.
Earler today, PPP C0-Chairman telephoned Qadri and exchanged views on Model town Inquiry Report.
Commenting on the meeting between two leader, Khursheed Shah the opposition leader in Natioanal Assembly said the meeting is not extra ordinary as both the parties were in contact much before.
However the meeting holds importance after the release of Model Town Massacre report by the Punjab government, following Tahir-ul-Qadri’s tirade against Punjab government alleging them of distorting the report authored by Justice Baqir Najafi, who is also pledging to hold protest anytime.
Sources claim that Qadri would invite People’s Party in an expected protest of PAT against Punjab government over the allegations of ‘forged’ ‘unverified’ report in demanding resignation of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah, the Law Minister of Punjab.
