ATC extends bail of MQM’s Aamir Khan till 26th January


KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday issued orders for bail extension of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Aamir Khan, NewsONE reported.


The court accepted bail plea of Aamir Khan on 30th June 2015.

Later, MQM leader urged the court to grant him a permission to to leave the country for Hajj pilgrimage. Which was accepted by ATC on 17th August 2015.

An FIR was registered against Khan for allegedly providing shelter to 26 wanted suspects arrested by Rangers during raid on and around MQM headquarters, Nine Zero, in Azizabad on March 11.

Aamir Khan was also among those detained in the raid in a case pertaining to instigating terrorism and harbouring criminals.
