The former premier is currently at his residence at Jati Umra undergoing treatment for multiple health complications and requires tests that are not available in Pakistan.
Awan added, “despite political difference, when the prime minister found out that a person’s life is in danger, he advised all spokespersons to not do politics on Nawaz Sharif’s health.”
Sharif’s brother, Shehbaz Sharif, is expected to hold an important press conference later today regarding the family’s decision.
