LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday bemoaned that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has one standard for accountability in Sindh and other in Punjab.
Talking to media after inquiring the well-being of PPP senator Aitzaz Ahsan, Bilawal said no accountability of the Metro Bus and Orange Line Train projects was conducted in Punjab, yet people are being held answerable in Sindh.
Lamenting ‘seizure of files from the offices of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) by masked personnel’, he questioned what would be the condition of Punjab CM, had similar episode taken place at the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) offices.
The PPP chairman also criticized the judiciary for not supporting PPP-government and that his party ‘failed to settle matters with it like Nawaz-league’.
He vowed restructuring the PPP at every level and for that purpose a meeting of the central executive committee has also been summoned.
