Bilawal urges parliamenterians not to repeat ‘past mistakes’


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday visited Parliament House.


During his visit he met members of the Senate, the upper house of the parliament , stressing the need for parliament’s supremacy.

“Parliament has to maintain its supremacy, we have to make sure we do not repeat mistakes of past,” the young PPP chairman said.

Bilawal said the military and the parliament have a key role in war against terrorism. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also called on Senate Chairman and PPP stalwart Raza Rabbani in his chamber.

When he was introduced to Shibli Faraz, a PTI lawmaker, as son of great Urdu poet Ahmed Faraz, Bilawal quipped: Then what is he doing in PTI,”.
