Caretaker PM: Khursheed Shah to meet PM Abbasi on Wednesday

Opposition leader and Pakistan peoples’ party (PPP) member Syed Khursheed Shah on Monday has said that he will meet prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday for the consultation of caretaker PM.


“Opposition allies haven’t submitted any final name yet, upcoming election will be depended on caretaker PM,” he added.

Opposition leader said that his party will give the names of caretaker PM after the meeting, adding that he will try to start the consultation in the first week of May.

He said that Former PM Nawaz Shairf returned to country after completing his 10 years of exile just of late Benazir Bhutto.

Shah demanded the govt to replace the name of newly constructed Islamabad Airport with late Benazir Bhutto.

“Will seek Supreme Court if ruling govt didn’t change the name,” Shah said.

He said that politicians must respect the parliament as it is the supreme body. “If the prime minister doesn’t accept the Senate chairman then he doesn’t accept the parliament,” Shah added.
