Census would help for better planning for future development: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday has appreciated Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s move of holding census in March next year.

Addressing a conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Islamabad, the minister said that census would help for better planning for future development.

She said in the Vision 2025, the targets of SDGs in different fields have been set under international framework while the relevant ministries and departments have been apprised about their tasks in this regard.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the nation didn’t lose determination in war against terrorism.

She said collective efforts are needed to achieve SDGs while she also stressed the need for coordination between the Federal and Provincial Governments to achieve human development goals.
