KARACHI: On Sunday, two civil society organization, Pakistan Youth Alliance (PYA) and Civil Progressive Alliance Pakistan jointly organized a vigil in remembrance of Army Public School victims here at Karachi.
Vigil was held at main Johar Chowrangi, on the 4th Anniversary of APS massacre which took lives of 144 innocent, torch bearers of society.
Political and youth activists attended the event.
The participants of the vigil brought flowers, placards and candles were lit in support of APS victims and their families.
Asad Zaidi, one of the leading youth activist said while addressing to the participants, that even after 4 years govt has failed to provide justice to the families of innocent martyrs of APS.
Moreover, Zaidi added that protection of every citizen is the basic responsibility of state and after APS one can say that state has failed in fulfilling its responsibility.
The participants demanded newly formed government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) to provide justice to the bereaved families.
