CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif meets Achakzai, condemns ‘Anti Parliament’ statement

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif met the leader of Pashtun Khuwah Milli Awami Party Mehmood Khan Achakzai in Lahore and condemned the opposition tirade against the Parliament.


Both the leaders discussed  political matters and vowed to work for the stability of Democracy.

The two leaders also discussed latest Balochistan fiasco, where Pakistan Muslim League(Nawaz) lost its significant presence as the Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri was replaced by Abdul Quddos Bizenjo after the dissidents forced him to resign, facing fears of N0- Confidence motion.

On Wednesday, the Pakistan Awami Tehreek led protest against the Model Town Massacre in which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chairman Imran Khan ‘cursed’ the parliament for protecting a criminal(a referral to Nawaz Sharif) followed by National Assembly resolution against the tirade of PTI’s Chief Imran Khan, slamming the former in giving ‘anti-parliament remark’.
