CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah says will not let era prior 22 August, 2016 to return

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that he would not let the revival of an era prior to 22 August, 2016.


An apparent reference to today’s Muttahida Qaumi Movement(MQM-P) jalsa, the CM while talking to the media also claimed that Pakistan People’s Party jalsa on last Sunday has sent shock waves in the former ranks, adding that the people of Karachi will stamp on arrow(Electoral sign of PPP) in the upcoming elections.

The Sindh chief minister further said, “Nobody had heard of Tanki Ground in Liaquatabad, Karachi till Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a rally there a few days ago.”

“Now, MQM is holding a rally at Tanki Ground today,” he added.

On 22 August MQM founder Altaf Hussain remarked anti- state slogan sparking nationwide condemnations including leaders from the MQM(P) rank, distancing themselves from their founder’s statement.
