RAWALPINDI: US Special Representative on Peace and Reconciliation in Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad on Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

According to the ISPR, matters pertaining to security situation of the region and especially Afghanistan reconciliation process came under discussion during the meeting at the General Headquarters.
Khalilzad said Pakistan’s efforts for promotion of peace are praiseworthy.
