Conflict between muslim countries may benefit terrorists: Aziz


ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz on Tuesday expressed concern over the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran.


While making a policy statement in National Assembly session,Aziz said that both the countries should resolve their issues through talks.

Terming the attack on Saudi embassy in Tehran as unfortunate, the advisor said that the security of embassies and diplomats is state’s responsibility.

Sartaj added that ‘terrorists’ may benefit from the differences between the Muslim countries.

Aziz further said that both the countries should talk to resolve their matters in the larger interest of the Muslim Ummah.
