CTD guns down three terrorists in Karachi’s Korangi


KARACHI: Counter-Terrorism Department has gunned down three terrorists in Mehran Town of Korangi area, reported Friday.


Details have it that the killed terrorists worked as paid assassins who had some police officials’ patronage. It was revealed that they were involved in around 27 dacoities and used to gang-rape the victims.

According to the raiding party, the busted gang comprises of eleven criminals. The group used to flee to Islamabad after committing a crime.

Counter-Terrorism Department Senior Superintendent of Police Junaid Sheikh said that the personnel have put together clues regarding criminals involved in different police killings who would be apprehended soon.

He said that other members of the gang have been identified and arrests are likely in the without wasting any time.
