Deadlock over ToRs not in favour of govt: Khursheed Shah


ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Khursheed Shah has said on Wednesday that deadlock over the Terms of References (ToRs) regarding Panama Leaks is not in favour of the government.


While talking to media in Parliament House, Khursheed Shah reiterated that matter of Panama Leaks should be investigated.

He said that opposition has no wish to take politics on streets however; if the deadlock on ToRs did not end then they will be forced to take the step.

He said that he will talk to the speaker in this matter.

Opposition leader also told the media that Aitzaz Ahsan has informed him of the progress of parliamentary committee.

While talking about President’s address, he said that they will listen to it with patience and hoped that the President will also speak about corruption.

On a question regarding Interior Minister’s criticism over Bilawal Bhutto, Khursheed Shah replied that Bilawal, Benazir Bhutto and Zulfiqar Bhutto are well-known people whereas the relatives of other people are not even known to their own neighbors.
