DERA GHAZI KHAN: A station house officer (SHO) was killed in an encounter with dacoits in Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday night.

According to details, police conducted a raid in Nootak area of Dera Ghazi Khan on a tip-off that dacoits were present in the area.
The dacoits opened fire at the police party as a result SHO Imran Brohi died on the spot. Reinforcement was called in after which police retaliated and shot dead a dacoit.
However, the exact number of the dacoits present in the area is not yet known.
