Earthquake tremor felt in KP cities

PESHAWAR: A powerful earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was felt Friday night in various cities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, NewsOne reported.


Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Dir, and Peshawar experienced the tremor, PEMA said.

According to United States Geological Survey (USGS), the tremors originated 230 kilometres away from Afghanistan-Tajikistan border area.

No loss of life has been reported yet in the wake of the earthquake.
