Every brick laid in Pakistan’s prosperity bears PM’s name: Pervaiz

MUZAFFARABAD: Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid while addressing the media on Saturday paid homage to late philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi and stated that Edhi was a great Pakistani who served those who were distressed, further stating that Edhi was being paid respect all around the globe.

He added that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif formed the manifesto committee for Azad Kashmir, adding that implementation shall be made on every word mentioned in the manifesto.

Information minister stated that PM Nawaz’s name was written on every brick laid for the prosperity and development of Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not initiate a single developmental project during its tenure, further stating that the country was plunged in darkness when the incumbent government assumed its responsibilities.

Rashid said that promises regarding developmental projects in Azad Kashmir made in the manifesto shall be fulfilled. Information minister said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was able to govern the country for 16 months and for 22 months in the past but the developmental projects never came to a halt during these periods.

He criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan by enquiring whether Khan was not able to curtail the rats-related issue faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) or not.

He also asked PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto to tell the people what did their government do for the people of Azad Kashmir.
