“‘Face saving’ attempts being tried, as the Judges know I am not guilty”: Nawaz Sharif claims

ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif in a meeting at Punjab House on Tuesday said that face saving attempts are being tried so that he can be convicted as the judges knew he was not guilty.

During the meeting, Nawaz said that National Accountability Bureau team dines out in London with Sheikh Rasheed. The cases against him and his family should be closed because they cannot find any evidence which supports that Nawaz is guilty.

“When will NAB stop its search to find evidence against me?” he questioned.

He also denounced NAB for summoning the incumbent Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif in Ashyana scheme, adding that the latter must be commended for his tremendous developmental work all across Punjab
