Web Desk: Minister of Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Friday confirmed that federal government has not decided to place former Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and Salman Rafiques names on Exit control list (ECL).
Fawad Chuadhry in his tweet mentioned that there is no reality in news circulating about putting Saad and Salman Rafiques names on ECL, adding that NAB is an independent authority and federal government will assist the NAB according to the law.
It must be noticed that NAB has also issued notices to the PML-N leaders for appearing before it on October 16 in a case pertaining to Paragon housing society.
Earlier today Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan interestingly said that the names of Khwaja Saad Rafique and Khwaja Salman Rafique have been placed on Exit Control List (ECL) in connection to Paragon City case.
Earlier in a day National Accountability Bureau (NAB) nabbed former chief minister of Punjab, opposition leader and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) president Shehbaz Sharif in Ashiana Housing Scandal.
The PML (N) president and former Punjab chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif was arrested as he appeared before the NAB headquarters in Lahore.
