Federal govt’s ordinance won’t prove good for provinces: Chandio

KARACHI: The deadlock between federal and Sindh governments on the issue of Rangers’ powers is still unresolved as Sindh Information Advisor Moula Bakhsh Chandio on Thursday said that the federal government’s ordinance won’t prove good for the provinces.

Talking to media in Karachi, Chandio said that the ordinance won’t prove helpful. He said that Sindh government doesn’t want to revolt but the ordinance wasn’t welcome. He said that Chaudhry Nisar should come to Karachi as Interior Minister.

Chandio said that Interior Minister had claimed earlier that Islamic State (IS) does not exist in Pakistan but now people are being arrested from various parts of Punjab. “Those trying to look for terrorism in Sindh should tell us if there is no threat of terrorism in Punjab”, said Chandio.

Terming the ‘grand alliance’ as ‘grenade alliance’, Chandio said that no one would risk future upon someone’s provocation.
