On Sunday, five Pakistan Army personnel were injured in an attack at Khar Qamar check post near North Waziristan, the Pakistan Army media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
A group attacked the check post in an effort to free an alleged terror facilitator, said ISPR. The said group was headed by Mohsin Dawar and Ali Zaheer who, along with his eight companions, were taken into custody by the army, added ISPR. Dawar fleed after provoking the attackers.
The attackers made hateful speeches prior to attacking to which the Army personnel responded patiently.
Three attackers died and ten were injured in the exchange of fire between the Army and the attackers, ISPR further added.
All the injured were taken to the Army hospital, added ISPR.
