If anyone protests, he will be fired from the job: Rasheed warns PIA workers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has come hard on protesting PIA employees, warning them to shun protest otherwise they will be shown the door.


Talking to media here, Rasheed said strike of Pakistan International Airlines workers would cause damage to Pakistan.

If anyone protests, he will be fired from the job, he said, adding whoever will be fired won’t get a job again.

He added, “We have made alternative arrangement, flights wont be disrupted anymore.

The minister said “we have put pilots and airline staff on standby in the face of strike.”

Meanwhile, PIA Joint Action Committee said they have rejected the Essential Services Act on PIA. They termed it a black law’.
