Imran calls PTI meeting to discuss strategy after Panama leaks


ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, has called a meeting of the party’s senior leadership on Tuesday to discuss strategy after Panama Papers startling revelations on Sharif family’s offshore accounts.


“I have called a mtg (meeting) of PTI senior ldrship (leadership) tomorrow to discuss strategy after Panama Leaks startling revelations on Sharifs’ off shore accts,” Imran wrote on his verified Twitter account.

“Only reason ppl (people) open offshore accts through Panama is to either hide wealth, esp (especially) ill-gotten wealth, or to evade tax or both.”

“Critical unanswered question is where did money for estab (establishing) of off shore accts come from? Why the contradictory statements from NS’s children?”

“I appeal to conscience of PMLN voters/Mins to ask their ldr why his family keeps wealth abroad when he roams world seeking invest for Pak?”
