Imran Khan asked for ‘ball and bat’ from Modi in India: Information Minister

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said that asking for things is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s old habit.

“Imran Khan asked for ball and bat from Modi but failed,” Pervaiz Rashid told reporters in Islamabad.

He alleged that Khan is also asking for a land from Mianwali people to build house for his children.

Imran Khan should give his Bani Gala residence to Mianwali people in return for their land, the minister said.

To a question, Pervaiz Rashid said that the government is making all out efforts for the development and prosperity of the country.

He said today’s Pakistan is close to the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam about Pakistan. He said Quaid-e-Azam was an enlightened personality.

He said problems of Pakistan have links with dictatorship.

The minister said today no one is allowed to create hurdles for anyone to seek education.

Responding to Pervaiz Rashid’s remarks, PTI spokesperson Naeemul Haq said that Pervaiz Rashid has made fun of a model educational institution like Namal.

The minister has twisted PTI chief’s statement, which is regrettable, he added.

Naeemul Haq further said that basic aim of acquiring land in Namal is to promote educational activities in the area.
