ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will attend the ongoing session of National Assembly tomorrow (Wednesday), a party’s spokesman said.
According to the PTI’s spokesman, Khan will join the session and present his party stance in the light of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s address to the lower house regarding Panama Leaks.
Opposition parties yesterday walked out of the session shortly after the prime minister ended his long-awaited speech.
Khursheed Shah, representing opposition parties, argued that Prime Minister Sharif failed to answer their seven questions regarding allegations of offshore holdings against his family.
In a meeting today, opposition parties ended their boycott of the session. Imran Khan and his party came under fire from critics and media commentators for staging a walkout instead of responding to the prime minister’s speech.
The spokesman further said that Imran Khan would also address a public meeting in Muzaffarabad in connection with the upcoming elections of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
