Imran Khan wants CJ-led commission to probe Sharif family

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has demanded investigation into Panama Papers leak in a supervision of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

“I present myself, my properties and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research for investigation,” said Imran Khan, asking Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to present himself for investigation under free and fair investigation commission under chief justice of Pakistan.

“Independent inquiry is the need of the hour in Pakistan. There needs to be a commission under a Chief Justice under who there should be a team of forensic experts and an audit firm from outside should be brought in for money trail investigation,” demanded Imran Khan.

The nation is angry and they want answers. This issue will not die out. They want accountability for their money, said Khan adding, “till they do not answer these questions this issue will not go away, we will not let it. It is our job as an opposition”.

If these people are involved in money laundering what moral authority will they have to bring any money back, Questioned PTI chief.

Referring to the PML-N ministers and leaders allegation on SKMCH, Imran Khan if you thought that an endowment fund made on public money was involved in wrong doing, why did you not investigate before.
