Ishaq Dar Corruption case: Co- accused still survives indictment owing to lawyer’s absence

ISLAMABAD: The accountability court hearing the assets accumulation case against Senator Ishaq Dar still did not indict the co-accused named in the supplementary reference against the former finance minister today.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed an interim reference against Ishaq Dar in September last year on the Supreme Court’s order in the Panama Papers case.

However, one of the co- accused’s lawyer was not present, therefore the court adjourned the hearing till April 2nd.

The co-accused are identified as former President of National Bank of Pakistant Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Rizvi.
