The Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Monday Karachi in 2014 was 6th in World Crime Index (WCI) and now by the grace of God is 70th with many first world cities behind.
In a tweet, DG ISPR shared a table of WCI comparisons of the crime rates in 334 megacities of the world from 2012-Dec 2018.

DG ISPR credited the decrease in crime rate to the teams of civil administration, security forces especially Sindh Police and Rangers along with the citizens of Karachi. “More stability Insha Allah,” he added.
