Jordanian King hails Pak Army’s success in fight against terrorism


RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, who is on an official visit to Jordon called on King Abdullah II at on Tuesday king’s Palace, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.


According to ISPR, matters of mutual interest including enhanced defence and security collaboration and regional security situation in the Middle East came under discussion.

Both leaders agreed that Pakistan and Jordan share a great history of cordial relations and deep rooted spirit of brotherhood which is transforming into enduring partnership.

King Abdullah II appreciated Pakistan Army’s achievements in fight against terrorism and efforts to promote regional peace and stability.
