Karachi’s fate lies in hands of voters: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday has stated on a social media platform that Karachi’s fate lies in hands of the voters.

In a message posted on Twitter, Khan stated that the voters should vote for ‘bat’ for eradication of extortion, injustice and corruption. He said that the voters must vote for PTI if they wish to see country prosper in the future.

On the other hand, PTI spokesperson Naeemul Haq has criticised Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid saying that the man goes hand in hand with lies. The minister went on to lie to the nation about Nandipur power project, he added.

He said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) exposed government’s lies by revealing economic statistics in international spectrum. Rashid promotes politics of lies in the country while Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif holds secret meetings with Indian counterpart.

The Minister for Information and Broadcasting should tell the nation how Sharif family conducts business and protects relations with neighbouring countries at expense of Kashmir cause.

Third phase of local body (LB) elections is underway today. Polling is being conducted in twelve districts of Punjab while six districts in Sindh. This is the final phase of LB elections. Earlier, two phases were conducted in which the ruling party gained success in majority areas while PTI had put forth poor perfomrance.
