
KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies on Friday arrested a key accused in the murder case of Arshad Pappu, police said.

The police said Inspector Chand Khan Niazi was declared proclaimed offender by a court.
They said the accused was hiding in Mianwali after fleeing from Karachi and was taken into custody upon his arrival.
They said that the arrest was made during a raid in Lyari area of the city.
Pappu, a notorious gangster, was murdered along with his associates in March 2013 after being subjected to severe torture.
