LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday anybody supporting the approval of the federal budget will be a public enemy as it created hardships for the common man.
Speaking to media at PML-N leader Saad Rafique’s residence a day after Rafique’s bail plea rejection by Lahore High Court, the PML-N VP said the eyes of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) are big who can only see opposition leaders but not Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan. She said Rafique twice defeated ‘incompetent’ PM Khan in the elections and she was expecting the Rafique brothers to get interim bail.
Maryam said nobody can stop her from standing beside the public and she has to solve the nation’s problems being a representative of the new generation. She said the government has failed at every platform and now the public is looking towards the opposition to become their voice.
Maryam said agenda for the anti-government campaign will be decided in the All Parties Conference (APC) and opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif is in contact with all opposition parties.
