LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday reserved its judgment on bail plea of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz.
Justice Baqar Najfi reserved the verdict which will be announced on Friday.
Maryam is on judicial remand in an inquiry related to Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
An accountability court last week extended her judicial remand till November 2.
On August 8, NAB had arrested Maryam along with her cousin Yousaf Abbas in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
On Aug 23, sources within the anti-graft watchdog had claimed that the bureau will soon write to relevant banks and other institutions, asking them to freeze the movable and immovable assets owned by both the accused.
