‘Massive kickbacks’ behind launching loss-making projects: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chairman Imran Khan said that government usually extracted kick backs on the projects which render loss to national exchequer.

He said this while tweeting from his account on Wednesday.

However his criticism was pointed to Punjab’s initiated projects specially Metro Bus Project and Orange Line Train.

Responding to Imran’s criticism Punjab’s government spokesman Malik Ahmed Khan claimed that these aforementioned projects are free of ‘kickbacks and corruption adding that these projects would set unparalleled trademark in Pakistan’s success.

He once again lambasted Imran Khan for lying, saying PTI’s chief has a habit of hurling baseless allegations.

It is pertinent to mention that PTI led KP government also started to work on Metro Bus Project launched in Peshawar.
