Maulana Fazul-ur Rehman a ‘power seeking missile’: Imran Khan

Bannu: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday has criticised Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal leader and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazul-ur Rehman, adding that he will contest election Pharaoh of Bannu in 2018 election.

“Maulana Fazul-ur-Rehman is power seeking missile, joins hand with every party who comes in power,” he said while addressing public gathering in Bannu.

Imran lamented that the condition of the country has worsened as the US dollar has risen to Rs125.

“When dollar rises against rupee then petroleum and electricity become expensive too. At this time in the sub-continent, electricity is most expensive in Pakistan,” said Imran.

Counting the services of KPK government cricketer-turned politician said that provincial government made 300 Micro-Hydel power projects in the areas where there was no electricity, adding that KPK has the best local bodies system as compare to all four provinces.

“Ask the local government representatives all over Pakistan, they’ll tell you they want a local government system like KP,” he added.

PTI chairman said that MMA candidate Akram Durrani has become a billionaire in last 10 years, while situation of masses is continuously deteriorating.

“When Akram Durrani asks you for votes you need to ask him question that what he did for the locals in last five years.

It is pertinent to mention here that Imran is contesting election from NA-35 Bannu, a strong hold area of MMA and JUI-F.

Akram Durani of JUI-F had won 2013 election from NA-35 formerly known as NA-26.
