BAP candidate Siraj Raisani among 128 others martyred in Mastung suicide attack

Mastung (Dringarh): Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) candidate Nawabzada Siraj Raisani and 128 others were martyred on Friday when an explosion hit an election gathering in Dringarh area of Mastung, Newsone reported.

According to details more than 250 people were injured in the result of blast. “Injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals and they are ascertaining the situation,” Deputy Commissioner (DC) Qaim Lashari told Newsone.

Raisani, a candidate of the recently-formed Balochistan Awami Party from PB-35 constituency, is the younger brother of former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani.

In July 2011, Raisani lost his 14-year-old son in a terrorist attack in Mastung, in which several others, including security personnel, were killed.

Nawab Siraj Khan Raisani, a pro-army Baluch leader was targeted in a terror attack in an apparent wave of fresh bomb blasts to sabotage the peace efforts of the Armed forces.
