KARACHI: Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) on Tuesday announced its 12-point manifesto for the upcoming general elections 2018, Newsone reported.
Addressing a press conference MMA leader Maulana Fazul-ur-Rehman said that the 12-point manifesto includes implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa (PBUH), safeguarding all Islamic provisions in the constitution, construction of new dams, end of interest system, independent foreign policy and empowered parliament.
Jamiat Ulama Islam (Fazl) chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman said that MMA would give its support to the movement of new provinces if initiated.
“We stand for giving employment opportunities to the native population in CPEC projects” he said.
In response to a question related to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Fazlur Rehman said that they have ideological and political differences with them but they do not comment about anyone’s personal life.
