Money wins, democracy lost in senate elections: Sirajul Haq

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq on Sunday has said state issues can only be resolved by elections as there is no other process to sort it out.


Addressing the ceremony in Karachi press club the JI chief said Money has won and ideology has lost in Senate elections, adding “Senate election was the selection on the basis of money rather than election.”

He alleged that PPP did major horse trading in Senate elections.

While commenting over MQM-P he inquired for how much money did they sold out the mandate of Karachi?

He said whole nation stands with Supreme Court, adding “we want to give corruption free Pakistan to our next generation.”

JI chief  held ruling party responsible for the current situation of Pakistan Steel Mill and Pakistan International Airline.

Sirajul Haq vows to fight for the rights of masses of metropolis.
