Web Desk: The newly-elected members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh assemblies, have taken oath of their offices in the inaugural session, on Monday.
The oath-taking ceremony in KPK, and Sindh assemblies was administered by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Sardar Aurangzeb Nalota and Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani respectively. He was appointed by KP Governor to fill in for outgoing speaker Asad Qaiser, who was sworn in as MNA earlier today.
Speaker Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani administered oath to the MPAs in Balochistan Assembly.
The Punjab Assembly session has been summoned on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 10am.
Earlier today, newly-elected MNAs took oath in the inaugural session of the 15th National Assembly, marking the 3rd consecutive democratic government.

Outgoing NA speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq administered oath to the newly-elected members, which was later followed by signing of the ‘Roll of Members’.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, in-waiting Prime Minister, also took the oath.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and in-waiting Prime Minister, Imran Khan, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz President, Shehbaz Sharif and other political leaders have gathered at National Assembly for the first session.
Earlier, PTI chairman Imran Khan and PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto also shook hands the sessions to greet each other.
The session begun with the recitation of the Quran and the National Anthem.
