LODHRAN: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz held a rally here on Monday as part of campaign for by-election in the constituency.
Addressing the rally, PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz condemned Imran Khan’s remarks in which he allegedly threatened villagers to give up land for his NAMAL university in Minawali.
Hamza said he would not only win election, but also hearts of people in Lodhran because political relations are fragile while relation of love is enduring. “Nawaz Sharif’s lion will win on December 23, and we will resolve issues of people in Lodhran,” he said.
He also responded to Imran Khan’s sever criticism of the government by launching a tirade against PTI candidate Jahangir Khan Tareen, who he said got his loans written off.
Rejecting PTI chairman’s allegations of election rigging, he said judicial commission had buried Imran Khan’s accusations by rejecting his claims.
