NA observes one minute of silence over Paris, Beirut attacks

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Friday observed a minute of silence over the recent deadly terrorist attacks in Paris and Lebanon.

A series of coordinated attacks by gunmen and suicide bombers in Paris killed at least 128 people in scenes of carnage at a concert hall, restaurants and the national stadium on November 13.

The deadly attacks were carried out just a day after two suicide bombers killed at least 43 people and wounded more than 200 in the Southern Beirut suburb of Bourj el-Barajneh.

The 26th session of the National Assembly began in Islamabad and was chaired by recently re-elected speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
