ISLAMABAD: PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Monday said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman should appear in person before the parliament to answer questions related to cases against politicians.
“Why will you go to the NAB chairman?” he asked the MNAs present, before declaring: “The NAB chairman should appear in person before the parliament,” he former president said while speaking in the National Assembly.
The former president said that federal government is stopping water of Sindh, adding that people of Sindh being punishment for voting PPP.
“[Faisal] Vawda may not have anything to do with water or dams but it would be good if he comes [to Parliament] prepared’,” he said.
He also implored the government to take serious steps to address the economy.
